I called WHEELMAX just to see if I could order by dimensions instead of by car and they told me that if I didn't order stock for my car they didn't want my business or the hassle of people like me who don't know nothing and just return everything. Not only would the guy not talk to me to explain the policy but he told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and that my suspension was wrong and he knew what was right for my setup and I hadn't even told him what I had yet. I then called back and I hear in the background oh great here we go again. Worst customer service ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wheelmax worst customer service/problems/legit buyer be cautiously aware!
I called about a center cap for a wheel I had and to purchase a set of wheels. The person I spoke with was so rude about them not selling parts, that he basically told me to take a hike before I even got out I also wanted to purchase wheels. I was shocked and appauled that a company would hire someone like this for one and that they allowed them to treatb even a potential customer like this. I believe every company is only as good a good as there customer service. This is because if you ever have a problem then you have to deal with them. If you believe this then you won't buy from wheelmax. There are so many company's like this that will actually take care of you. Even if they are a couple bucks more, the headaches in the end are worth it in themselves. Sincerely, a rrealistic consumer!

Hey guys and girls, i already bought (2) sets of rims from wheel max and i can say that they are not THAT bad. I bought first rims 5 spoke gunmetal, they shipped within about 8 days, so i was fully satisfied with them about that. NOW the bad part, i lost one of the center caps on one of the rims and called them about 50-60 times and no body EVER answered the phone. I left a few messages and never got a call back. Then i bought another set of rims and these were 18"s, i ordered them they called me back and said they did NOT have them in stock even though their site said its in stock, they said that they will have to ship them from Cali and would sell them to me for the same price, I received them in about (2) weeks not damaged and they were actually good rims. I called them again countless times and nobody answered, BUT as soon as i placed an order they called me in a matter of 1 DAY. So i just cancelled the order. Then i called them to ask a few questions about the warranty and a guy just said "hold on" and just put me on hold. What seemed for EVER. They have a HUGE variety of rims and tires, BUT their CUSTOMER SERVICE S U C K E S!!!

Overcharged without authortity, shipped wrong)less expensive items and refused return!
I was told a price, charged more on my visa, shipped the wrong items and refused return authorization! I authorized $794.00 for 4 general grabber hts 265/70/17 tires and received 4 general ameritrac 255/70/17 tires (hts=$794.00, but ameritrac=$482.60). I also purchased 5 nitto terra grappler 325/50/22 tires @ $2,100.00 and was shipped 5 hankook rh06 265/40/22 worth only $802.81. I am pissed! They did not even ship the lugs and locks as promised and paid extra for...they actually charged me double what I had authorized for the accessories and they did not ship them! I am really pissed!! More info available upon request. Wheel&Tire Max is a crooked organization! Beware!!! You have been warned.

I placed an order with wheelmax and received a call the next day saying they were sold out of the wheels I ordered. I chose differnt rims, then received another call back saying they did not have the tires. I then chose differnt tires. 2-3 day shipping has turned into now a week into it and still no rims. I called the sales manager Sachi (with a attitude) he tells me thee rims have not shipped yet, with a whole lot of excusses and sighing. I will never use wheelmax or any of its affiliates again in the future.

**BUYER BEWARE**
I purchased a set of 4 wheels from wheelmax.com in May. I called and made sure the wheels would fit my car. They said yes. Took the wheels to get installed and found out they were the wrong lugs. Took 10 days to get the correct lugs. Took the wheels back and now they were rubbing the rear brake caliper. They did not fit. I thought, no problem since they have a compatability promise. What a joke. They said they needed a statement from the tire shop as to why they wouldnt fit. I did that, but then they said it must be on company letterhead. I did that, now they say it's been more than 60 days and no return is possible. The Customer Service Mgr. is Scowan(Sean) and he is very rude. I asked to speak to the General Mgr. (Andy) but he is always at lunch and never returns my call. Their compatability promise is a JOKE! This place is a rip off and a scam!!!! You've been warned!

WheelMax kept prank calling me!!!
I was shopping to get wheels and tires for my son who is turning 16. One of the style of wheels he liked were at WheelMax. I called to ask a couple of questions and something wasn't right. They wanted me to wire money to them and would only ship to the PO Box??? that my CC bill was mailed to. I couldn't beleive this and quesioned the person who ansered the phone named "t". I finally wouldn't buy from them and hung up after they were being very ruud!! Even 1 week later, I keep getting prank phone calls from this company...over and over. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM...THEY ARE SOME KIND OF SCAM!!!

Do Not Order From WHEELMAX
I ordered a set of rims and tires on Feb. 17th 2008. After I ordered them, the salesman called me and said that they did not have the wheels in stock (though the website said they did), but I could get any other wheels I wanted for the same price. I told him there were no other wheels I liked, and I would call him back, but I probably would just cancel the order. About 15 minutes later, he calls me and says he found the wheels I ordered, and they were in California. He would get them sent to Wheelmax, they would balance them, and then they would ship them to me. He said it would take 2 days for them to get the wheels and it would take 3-5 days after that for me to get them. -I did not receive any wheels until the first of April. I only got three. Fedex damaged the fourth wheel, and though that was not Wheelmax's fault, the next part was. I called Wheelmax and told them Fedex said the wheels was damaged. They said they could not get another one of those wheels but they would sell me some more. An hour later, I called them again, sat on hold for 20 minutes like always, and he said he found the wheel. It was the same story about CALIFORNIA. He told me I should get the wheel in 4 days. When I called 4 days later, he said he should get the wheel that day and it would take 3-5 days for me to get it. Both times, they were lying so I would not cancel my order. I now have four wheels. The chrome inserts were missing. They sent those. I am still missing all 4 center caps. They told me they would give me some money back for all the trouble. I paid $1686.98. They are going to give me $86.98. Wow. That's not even 10 percent, and I keep calling wanting to know why I haven't seen the refund yet, and i can't get anyone to tell me anything. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER buy rims from Wheelmax again. EVER!
